Default Which devices do I need?

I bought a Sizzix Big Shot, but are there other devices I may want to compliment it? our will it really do everything? suggestions?

You shouldn't need any other "devices" to make it work but you will certainly have a good time shopping for dies and embossing folders.

Accessories such as the extended cutting pads might be something you would need if you purchase any of the XL dies.

Yep, I have the extended cutting pads, and solo shim, crease pad and soft rubber pad.

You need a good guillotine and or paper trimmer.

Sounds like you're good to go - with that set up you can use wafer thin dies (like Spellbinder, Memory Box etc), Sizzlet style dies, Bigz and Bigz XL dies, embossing folders and texture plates (I'm assuming the "soft rubber pad" is what I would call a tan mat). I certainly wouldn't buy anything else until you've played to find out what you enjoy. In fact the only thing I can really think of that you don't have is the long skinny platform and pads that are designed to go with the Sizzix strip dies.
