Talking About time, huh?

Hello, I've been a member here for quite a few years but somehow have never got around to properly introducing myself.

My name is Jessika but I prefer Jess. It had been awhile since I did anything crafty and right now my life is hectic and crazy and overwhelming so I decided to take back my "me-time".

My family and I live in central Indiana about an hour north of Indianapolis. There is myself, my boyfriend, Chris, and my two boys. Jackson is 11 going on 30 and Ian is 7 1/2. We also have two furballs to keep our life interesting. Savannah is a ten year old German short-haired pointer who still acts like a puppy and is spoiled beyond rotten. Morgan is an eight year old gray and black striped tomcat.

Currently, I work full-time as an LPN in a long-term care facility, mostly with Alzheimer's/dementia resident. I am in school part-time working on my RN. On top of all that and running a family/household, I am also dealing with my mother recently being placed in a nursing home d/t her not being safe on her own any longer. We are also in the midst of a complete redecoration of our home.

I just started playing with my toys again and am trying to pop out of my SU bubble, so if you have any recommendations feel free to share. I just bought my first Sizzix product and am eager to try it out; it's an embossing machine shaped like a purse. I sold my Cuttlebug and accessories a few years ago after I divorced and have missed it ever since.

I scrapbook, make cards, and alter items. I have a Cricut Expression that doesn't get nearly as much love as it should from me. I've been a member of a mommy message board for 10+ years and they have a small scrapbooking sub-forum but it's not very active so I prefer here for my playtime.

If you see me online, feel free to say hello and don't hesitate to friend me on facebook if you'd like!

Hi Jess and welcome from New Zealand! What a hectic life you have - I can see that you definitely need some Jess-time.

Thanks, Gayla! I don't think I've ever realized there is a section to find local stampers.

it's great. we (over 80 girls) get together all over the state several times a year.. we have grown over the past 5 years. we meet near & far. we love to travel & shop our way across the state.
we have been known to travel to neighboring states also. great fun. we are not all demos. nor is everyone associated w/SU. but we love everyone all the same.
but you will meet other demos-share SU ideas. and you might just meet a new customer or 2.
my best demo tip is-hold your workshops/classes in the 1st month of the quarters. this gives you the following months to meet your minimums!
