Wink watercolour pencils

Would watercolour pencils and an aqua brush work the same as prismacolors and OMS?

The water color pencils are definitely a watercolor look when used with the aqua brush. Colored pencils and OMS will just blend your colors better and pretty much erase your pencil strokes. Not the same look.

The similarity lies in that in both cases you are breaking down pigment with a solvent... but the technique is definitely different.
