Today has been a little better. DD's best friend came over last night and helped her put everything in perspective. It's still incredibly sad for his family and friends. He was a volunteer firefighter in 3 fire companies and well liked. It makes my heart hurt.

Athina - I've been praying for your boss. I hope it turns out to be nothing.

Maggie - I hope your weigh in goes well and you're down, even if it's just a little. DH has lost 20 lbs since Thanksgiving. He's been using an app on his iphone that counts calories, and he's been very faithful and not cheating. You get extra calories if you work out. They have a small gym where he works and a group that meets after work 2 days/week to work out.

Jackie - I have some housesfor rent in my neck of the woods. That would just be too much fun to have someone to craft with all the time!!!

AM - Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know DD will get through this, but it's tough.

Dorlene - Big Hugs!!!

Nancy - I'd like to get one card made per day and one load of laundry! That's not asking for much, but it feels like it will take an act of congress to make it happen.

Carole - Good luck on your class! Whatever you do, make it fun!

Someone asked about my brother (sorry, can't remember who). He's doing great. He should be able to drive this week. Other than not being able to work, he's pretty much back to normal. I'm not sure how going back to work will play out...he's a paramedic/firefighter. I don't know if they will have to do some kind of test to make sure he remembers everything or not.

I got an order for 20 cards yesterday! I sell cards at a beauty shop, and the owner's wife called. One of the ones I had in the basket, she wants 10 of, and the other 10 she wants a variety, all blank inside.
