He fell twice on the stairs and again at the upstairs landing. I was able to drag him into the bedroom on a throw rug and roll him onto the bed. That sounds horrible, doesn't it? Believe me, I TRIED like mad to get him to sleep on the sofa but he didn't want any part of it and he's quite, quite stubborn.

The last seizure had had was 22 days before this one. Most days he's up and doing stuff, like over the weekend, he was hanging drywall. Then, someone tosses a monkey wrench into the works and reminds us just how ill he is.

This is a scary, horrible disease.

Oh, and why am I "recovering?" Because my back was killing me on Monday and supporting a 180lb man to stand upright hurt. Plus, I had an awful time falling asleep that night and staying asleep. Every move he made, I was wide awake and scared to death.

But today, we're good.

That's so scary. I wish there was something we could do to help you. I'm glad today was better for you both. When does he have to go and see doctors again?
