Default Magenta Wood Mount Stamps~Where can I buy them online?

I can find a few Magenta Wood Mount stamps at a few stores..... Is there an online shop that has a large inventory of Magenta wood mount stamps? I really would rather have the wood mount, not the cling....

Thanks for any help :-)

Can't recall which forms they sell the stamps in: JoAnn online, Blue Moon Scrapbooking, Ellen Hutson, and Stamp Diva.

Thanks for reply............ Joanne, Blue Moon and Ellen Hutson carry Magenta cling. Stamp Diva carries wood but she has a very limited selection.

You can buy them directly from the company online - wood mount if you prefer. Here is a link directly to the wood mounts: https://www.magentastyle.com/store/i...hp?cPath=1_291

I have tons and tons of Magenta stamps. I tried to sell a few of them in the buy/sell/trade section, but didn't want to use PayPal. When no one was interested, I gave them away.

I know that Addicted to Rubber Stamps http://www.addictedtorubberstamps.com/
has wood-mounted Magenta stamps, so be sure to check them out.

I think a lot of people believe that ATRS closed up shop, but they didn't. I was shocked to read i our local paper that ATRS was purchased by an established stamp company in the little Iowa town I live in. They have a great reputation for customer service, and I've heard that they are working very hard at building up their inventory and adding new stamp lines.

I was interested in the UK Crafty Individuals stamps too, but Magenta is the closest to a supplier for their stamps. I haven't seen any sign of those stamps appearing with the Magenta stamps though. Crafty Indiduals has so many vendors in the UK---hope they branch out some more. For now, maybe you are just better off ordering direct to Crafty Individuals in the UK.

I was hoping to come back to check this thread and find a long list of stores selling wood mount stamps........ They are getting harder to find. I am not a a fan of clear and/or cling stamps. I love wood mounted stamps...... each stamp is a little piece of art to me.

If i buy from Magenta online how does that work buying from a different country than the USA. Do i pay a special tax or tariff? It looks like this may be my only option. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond :-)

Magenta is based in Canada so there's no duty or custom fees if you're in the US. Shipping to and from Canada is usually not too much more than in the US.

Hi
I am really new to making cards. Have tried all kind of stamps, rubber, cling, clear, silicone etc.

Love versafine ink and magenta stamps. More partial to rubber stamps than any other kind. Have never tried stampin up

My question is - what technique do people use to get that perfect finish everytime. I have wasted paper trying to get my stamps to be even every single time.

What is happening is that some prints turn out darker or lighter than others.

Right now I'm just trying something simple like stamping a set six note cards with a verse or just a picture.

Any suggestions would be great!!!!

I was reading on one blog today that craft foam will give that even print I'm looking for.

I purchase my Magenta Stamps from this online store:

https://www.magentastyle.com/store/i...1o7ba01jj77200

Do not know whether it is ok to say this - but sometime I get really great deals buying them from Etsy. You simply type in magenta stamps in the search and browse the stores.

You are right Antique Stamper. I just checked out addicted to rubber stamps, and I actually believe they have a better selection the Magenta's online website.

I see that addicted to rubber stamps has some of the older stamps that are so beautiful. Magenta's online website has retired some of these stamps and they are hard to find.

Good paper and good quality rubber stamps. If you are using finely detailed stamps like many of Magenta's are, you must have smooth grain paper. Magenta used to sell some. Gina K has some great card stock called "Pure Luxury" and Stampin' Up's Whisper White is nice and smooth too.

You want a stamp that is deeply etched to get a nice crisp image. I used to be a HUGE fan of Magenta. But once I discovered other lines that carry more deeply carved images that stamped so much better, I quit buying them. North Woods, Impression Obsession, Stampin' Up!, and Flourishes are just a few that I can recommend.
