Hellooooo!
OMGoodness! What a crazy, nutty whirlwind of a couple of days!! We have just been go-go-going!!
Saturday, we made it to town just in time to run a couple of errands, get my hairs cut (I went with a short bob!!), run to Subway for a super duper quick salad and go to the movie two minutes before it started!! We would have gotten in a few minutes sooner, but I insisted on getting popcorn!
Movie was pretty good! It was based loosely on Romeo and Juliet! Interesting zombie twist! LOL
On to kiddo # 3's soccer game..it was a disaster. They got stomped on and put away wet.
7-1 OUCH!!
Sunday was my demo meeting. It went well! We talked business, crafted , ate yummy food exchanged swaps and had a good time. It did start to sleet and spew freezing rain from the sky on our drive home. That was a bit of a white knuckle drive, but we made it home okay!
Today was madness!! A power pole on our road caught fire and we lost power for most of the day. My son went on the fire call (he volunteers with the fire dept) and spent most of the day out there. Then we went down the hill to my MIL house because both my SIL and I home school and so MIL is teaching all of our kids (and us!!) to quilt! We are all going to make our own quilts (you know....since I have soooo much free time!!).
Then I came home, grabbed a shower (since the power was on!!) and drove my son to his firefighter class and then my daughter 55 minutes to her new gymnastics class! My daughter wanted to go to stay in shape and do some conditioning, but the coach wants her to be on team which would require that drive 3-4 times a week! Ugh! Shoot me now!!
I am finally home and worn slap out!! LOL
