Default Looking for an EGG-shaped Die Set

I'm already thinking of my Easter cards and can't find an Egg-shaped Die Set other than Sizzix and their site said only that it would be "available in local craft stores in Feb.". Well, that's not good for me since our local Michael's is small and very limited as far as Sizzix goes. I did check with Spellbinders and was surprised that they had no egg shaped die sets. My preference is not to use my Spellbinders oval set.

Do any of you know of co. that offers an egg shaped die set? I'm looking for a set of different sizes and not just one sized die.

I've seen three egg shaped dies. Dieversions and Poppy stamps have some. Cheery Lynn has a nesting set. From your note, that might be what you are looking for. I saw it on Scrapbook Supplies, Rubber Stamping & More - Frantic Stamper. (I'm a customer of Fran's, but not affiliated in any way.) Hope that helps.

I tried to find the egg die set on fran's site and could not. Could you tell me where exactly I should look. I also tried their search feature for egg die set and I resulted in "0" finds. Any help would be great.

Dear Laxmommy,
On the left hand side of the screen, click on products by type. Then click on subcategory die cutting. You will see the dies organized by company. If you look in Cheery Lynn and then under Easter, you will see one there. If you click on Poppy Stamps and scroll through, you will see some there. Another company that has egg die was Dieversions. Do Crafts, under newest products, also has a nesting egg die.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Ocean County for your directions. I had a difficult time finding it too. I found the one by Cheery Lynn, but purchased the one by Do Crafts because it was only $14.99.

Memory Box/Poppy Stamps have an edge die and separate dies with a design to place over the solid egg die.

I have a Spellbinders set of various size eggs. Don't know if they have this set anymore.

I'm sure with so many companies making shape dies, there are probably lots more to choose from.

Good luck!

Default egg dies and stamps

I too have been thinking about egg dies for Easter cards. I am also interested in matching egg stamps. Does anyone know of a company that coordinates the dies and stamps? Thanks.

Serendipity Stamps always has beautiful stamps, and has begun adding dies to its offerings. They have a plain egg die as well as decorative ones with matching stamps.

I just bought the Sizzix 10 piece egg die set today at "my local craft store", which was neither a Michael's or JoAnne's. They had at least one more set. The store is called Peddler's Pack, in Beaverton, Oregon, and they might be able to send it to you. Look 'em up and call or e-mail them.

Hope that helps.

SU! has Oval Framelits in their Spring Catalog. I know that isn't specifically "egg" shaped but you can use it for more things. I saw a darling card today where someone had used the chevron striped oval image from Oh, Hello (also Spring Catalog) to make an Easter card!!!

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. However, as I mentioned earlier, I've already purchased an egg die set. I was looking for a set of different sizes, not just one die, and found it through your help.

My Favorite Things just released a set, Embellished Eggs, with a matching die. You can find the set here, and you can find my examples with it here (S'meeps Easter Treats) and here (Embellished Eggs) .
