Can you believe this is our 5th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2012 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2013! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2013! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2013 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc13feb"

Challenge 2013
This is where we'll have links to the Weekly Challenges! These are GREAT for Inspiration, we have Terrific Hostess and let's try to support them as much as possible!
I know I will get more done this month than the 12.5 goal I set to reach my 150 pages for the year. I am headed off to a 4 day crop next week then I am trying to get into a 3 day crop at the end February. SO, hum, let me go with.......... 25 pages. Just in case I don't get into that second crop.
I'm going with 15, but hoping to make up the 7 I missed in January. Lela, I have 8 done now - I added another last night before bed when you were likely already snoozing And you have eeddmm and my Terry/Terri spellings mixed up!
I can't believe it's February already!

Please put me down for 10 again . Oh, and my final page count for Jan. was 14 --since I didn't count some of my calendar pages which were qp's.
I was able to complete my goal of 10 for Jan, HORAAYYYY MIRACLE. I will post last 3 on the weekend, as I work for the first pages of February. I will try to get 8 done for this month!!!
Portuguese clases starting in a week, getting ready for curitiba Brazil!!! If anyone knows for a scrapbook store there, I appreciate your help!!!
Thanks and Happy February,

I've been MIA for a while, I tend to do my most Scrapbooking/Stamping this time of year. I was really happy with my challenges last year, so I thought I better come look for you gals again. We have a BIG Craft weekend this weekend, so I'm going to say 20 pages for Febrauary, I've been diong a lot of organizing and stamping, so here's to Scrapbooking, I'm going to get motivated!! Thanks, I love the challenge.
(My challenge to myself while organizing my room was to "finally" use some of the images I save and never really use, just "keep". I've come up with some fun but simple cards doing this. It's actually been fun! Go figure)!

Lela, my January goal was 12 and I completed 17, not 53. That was my 2012 total
I didn't know it was February until about noon today so I hadn't thought of a goal yet, LOL. I seriously thought February was next week sometime....dang. I will try to get 12 more pages done this month.
To comment on a conversation at the end of Feb's thread, Wendy, I moved Jan and Feb to the end of this newest calendar, becuase my mom will be delivering them in the middle and end of Feb. I just finished the cover and dates today, haha. I've posted one of the pages to show how I did birthdays and anniversaries. 2013 Calendar Cover 2013 Calendar Page

Oooh, I love how you keep up with it - thanks!! Lots of pages done! I can't believe I more than doubled my January goal! I feel like I should increase my yearly goal, but I know when summer comes I won't have as much time to scrapbook.... so I'll stick with my 75 pages. My February goal is 8 - and I already completed 2 pages last night! Woo hoo! I'll post the link once they show up in the gallery! (oh, and it's Cori - not Cari - but no biggy. It happens all the time! lol) ;)

These were suppose to be my first two pages for February, but I got carried away with adding finished pages to my signature. I did finish Game On in January and posted it to another forum the end of January. It must be a physiological thing for me knowing I will need to finish one "extra" page to met the goal of 25 I set for this month. Silly I know, but there it is......
I can not beleive it's February ALREADY!! I have a horrible feeling that this year is going to fly by faster than last.
I am so proud of myself that I acceived my goal last month and had 2 (what I call) bonus pages completed.
I am going to sitck with the plan of 6 pages. I use the challenges that I choose to participate in as my bonus. But I must say that I like the progressive digital challenge the most.
Have a great weekend ya"ll, and get outside no matter the weather, and clear those winter cobwebs out of the brain and body!! I don't mean shopping, get out into some fresh air and walk a little or a lot!! ;)

My "Jumping into January" theme turned into more of a "Journey into January" and I was able to create lots of new things, share lots of new ideas and "pay it forward" a little bit everyday. I feel so blessed!
And keeping with the monthly theme idea, I have decided that the theme for February is going to be "Fancy Fit February" and with that being said... I would like to invite everybody to check out my new "Fancy" Stampin' Up! website. (check out my siggy link)
I'm sure it is, I may have posted a link that is demo only. I will paste it
The Month of LOVE!!!
Last month Jana kicked us off with a nod to SU's 25th anniversary and since February is the month of love I'm going to roll right along with her!
CCREW0213DF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- DSP/Color Focus: I'm not focusing on DSP this month, instead we're going with a good old fashioned color combo, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, & Sahara Sand! (Bet that threw you off, you were probably expecting a brown weren't you?)
CCREW0213CF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Catalog focus: I had a hard time picking one this month, but in the end went with doilies. Whether you use a real doily, stamp a doily, stamp on a doily, make something with a doily, die cut a doily, or whatever else you can think of to do with a doily the catalog is full of them!
CCREW0213HF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Holiday focus: Well now this would have to be love wouldn't it? Valentine's, anniversaries, love, amore' baby!
CCREW0213SF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Scrapbook focus: How about a sketch? Whether you do traditional or digital scrapping I hope you have have with this one
You should be able to search the gallery to see the projects with any of the keywords at the beginning of each of the 4 challenges.

Molly posted a super fun "Stretch Your Sketch" Challenge in the Digital Scrapbooks Challenges thread the other week. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should!
Thanks for keeping me on my toes, Lou Ann! You're right--I copied them over from another thread and it didn't work! I've fixed them now! :p
No, THANK YOU! I use these link so much. I tend to get lost sometimes & this really helps me get back on track. You girls are awesome keeping us informed & busy with all the challenges. I apprecate it so much!
For all you digi scrappers....this may have been asked before but I can't remember so I'm going to ask again. I took a Photoshop class last summer & also bought an expensive book. Now I'm seeing the SU MDS & I like the idea of matching all my SU products I currently have.
- Does Photoshop have an advantage over MDS?
- Do you have to use just SU files with the MSD or can you use others?
- SU has digi files & CDs? Any difference other than downloading versus US Mail?
I only use the trail version of PS & I'm seriously thinking of SU MDS but not sure!
Here's my take. Photoshop is much more robust than MDS, it can do a LOT more. I tried Photoshop and found the learning curve steep for me. I know if I had the time/wanted to take the time I could and would learn it and that may be where I end up eventually.
For now, I love MDS because it is really quite user friendly. I have always loved SU's art style, colors, papers, etc. so it's a really nice progression/addition for me. If I want to go hybrid on some of my work, it should be easy to still have things coordinating.
All of SU's digital files will be downloadable to you in either a format to easily install with MDS or in universal format that you can use with any digital program, including Photoshop or Creative Memories. I tend to stick only to SU digital kits and files (and pay for them) because I love the convenience. I do get a lot of scrapbooking done, but I also don't spend a lot of time searching for files to play with (whether they are free or otherwise) from elsewhere on the web. That's the choice I've made - Wendy tempts me with freebies now and then and I always grab them, but if she wasn't posting the links I wouldn't go looking.
I purchased a CD of MDS when it was first released but now I download everything, and only get CD formats when I'm forced to, such as when there are free collections for Sale A Bration, or product suites of content like Tea For Two in the Ovcasions mini. When you order downloadable files you don't pay shipping and you don't have to wait!
I didn't add the first time, you can use ANY universal digital file with MDS, I do have some others. I'm just not sure about templates for pages that work with some of the other programs. There is no difference between downloaded files and those on CD.
Hope this helps . There is still a free trial download for MDS2 I am pretty sure.
