Hello everyone.....It's my turn to host this weeks Technique Lover's Challenge!!! As stampers and crafters, I'm sure you have worked with your stamps, images, die cuts, etc. to create a balanced design. You don't want an image too big or too small for the space you are decorating. However, if you pair something too big and something too small, you will actually create balance!!! Soooo, for this weeks challenge we are going to Play With Balance....I want you to use a stamp, image, diecut, etc. too big and one too small to create a perfectly scaled design!!!
1.You can add the small image to the side of the large one or add it right on top. 2. You can mix stamped images and diecuts, stickers, or embellies
Hope this meets the challenge criteria! Here's my large poppy BG stamp paired with a tiny tag stamp...MY CARD.

Joan- great challenge! I used a curved flower border- for my larger image, and SU's Baby Firsts for my small image. Added dc flowers, brads, and ribbon. Here's Too Cute

Great challenge, Joan, just in time for me to play with balancing some big and small die-cuts for a Paper Smooches photo inspiration challenge: Retro Note Card
I CASEd a card from our Featured Stamper's gallery and used a small scale floral stamp instead of dp. Thanks for another fun challenge! CASEd for Bonnie
Joan, a good challenge and exercise in composition. I hope to give it a try since I rarely think about balance - it either happens automatically or ... it doesn't. Ha!

I'm not sure I've got the balance perfect. Normally I would use a larger font for the sentiment. I kinda like it though. Thanks for the challenge, Joan.
Can this work? This is a pretty big stamp image with the leaves (and truthfully I think it's upside-down, but I decided not to care!). I created a visual 'triangle' with the darker small word stamp and the stamped washi tape to balance it all out.
