I hope it is okay to post a question for everyone here. I miss the QOD we used to have.
I was just curious about what everyone else doing for Valentine's day, if anything. I haven't really made Valentine's for myself to give away. But I was thinking about doing that this year. I have a bunch of stamps to use, mostly from SNSS.
So my questions for you are
Are you making any cards/gifts for Valentine's Day?
If yes, what are you making?
Who do you give your Valentine's to? Just family? Maybe close friends?
I would love to hear from everyone and maybe we can share ideas. Always looking for ideas.
I just saw this fun question. I will probably help my son make valentines for his class and I will make some for my boys and hubby, but that is probably it.
Thanks for posting!!

I usually make Valentine cards and treats for Becca's class and I send cards to my family. I haven't done anything yet, I have some ideas I want to try. I just need to have time to do it
Brenda, both of those projects are so cool. I might have to try that first one. I have a few people I can think of that may like them filled with some goodies.
Thanks Korin and Giovana. I don't have any little ones to make valentine's with. :( I love all the valentine stuff out there and the fun stamp sets I've collected. Now I need some little ones to craft with. Maybe my sister will give me another niece who likes to stamp someday. I have a 15 yo niece right now and all she wants to do is chat with all her friends on her iPhone. LOL!
Hi Melissa! As to Valentines, well I will make one for my hubby and doing up little mailboxes for our three kids. I know my youngest will be having a V'day Party with the library story time group so making for his group as well. Probably should get started as it will be here before I know it
I love this question because I've been scouting about Pinterest trying to come up with ideas. So here's the thing - I want to do something for my granddaughers this year for Valentine's Day...you know, a little gifty type thing. There are 4 of them - ages range from 5 to 13. It has to be something easy to do (if made) and light (must be mailed - all live 250 miles away from us). Any suggestions other than making them cards?
Hi Zella, How about a treat holder with some candy? They are so easy to make: Stampin' Away the Day: Scor-Pal & Pink Paislee
If you wanted to include more than that, you could always add a little gift card, I know I have attached a $5 gift card to the inside as a special treat. Just an idea

I'm sending Valentines to family and friends who live out of state. I try to send for all holidays and birthdays as it's one way to stay in touch. I have 3 left to make. They are on my website and I have more ideas pinned on a Vday Pinterest board too.
I made Brenda's heart kiss holder for a couple friends and some teabag holders for a couple other friends.
Sounds like a plan Zella. I love this community. Such a great resource.
Only 14 more days until Valentine's Day. So I guess I should start on my projects. If anyone that hasn't already wants to share photos of what you end up making, I would love to see them.
I am having a group of my women friends over next Friday for a stamping day. We all are to make 6 Valentines Cards to give to ea. other. I am using a stamp called HOUSE MOUSE GLITTER HEARTS. It is so cute. I hope it turns out well.
I'm making some treat pouches for both of my daughters to share at school, and putting together a set of quick paper gifty ideas to share with a ladies group here in town!
