The Rest of the Story:
Miss Geneva is known far and wide as a seamstress of world acclaim. No one within miles can match her precision, her style, or her ability to dress you so as to hide your less than fine points. All day long she snips, and cuts, and stitches and sings to herself as her blind and half psychotic parrot named Bernadine cackles loudly and announces each entry to the shop with a loud squalk and "Hi'ya Sweetie". And women proudly proclaim that their new dress is an exclusive Miss Geneva one off.
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and Mrs Astoria's annual Valentine's Day Ball will be the place to be. This year the theme is to be black and white. "Oh my word", wonders Miss Geneva. "How will I ever come up with enough variations of black and white. She has orders for dresses in black with white spots, white with black spots, black and white florals, black and white with swirls, black and white toile, black and white harlequin diamonds, black and white stripes, black and white abstract motifs and even some for all black. "Oh my", she thought, "I'm seeing spots and stripes swirling all together everywhere. And to not help matters, Bernadine can be heard all day cackling:
Black and white or white and black
white and black or black and white
cackle, cackle, teehee
The day before Honoria Astoria's fitting is here, and suddenly Geneva can't remember if her dress is to be black with white dots or white with black dots. "Oh dear", she cries as she paces back and forth, to and fro looking for her lists to refresh her memory. She's quite wearing herself into a tizzy of a tall order and still she hasn't solved the dilemma. She daren't call and ask as then everyone will think she's gone soft in the head and if she doesn't figure this out; her little shop could be ruined. Above all the noise in her head, she hears Bernadine cackling away but a different refrain:
Black and white and white and black
white and black and black and white
black and white and white and black
white and black and black and white
By golly Bernadine! I have an idea that will solve this whole mess. I'll use both. Black with small white dots on the bodice will make Honoria's ample bosom less imposing and a billowing skirt of white with black dots will hide her carrot stick legs. And with a brilliant red sash across the bodice and tied in back it will surely be regal enough. That's it ol' girl you've done it. So she raced around the tiny shop grabbing up scissors and thread and fabrics and started cutting, snipping, stitching and snipping some more. Soon she had it together enough for a fitting and just in time too. Honoria would be here within the hour. "Time for a spot of tea" she thought as she admired her handiwork.
Finally Honoria arrived for her fitting and was truly amazed at the regal creation presented to her. "Well, I'll be" she stated. "This is so elegant and stately. I know I told you black with white dots and then changed it to white with black dots. But just look at how you did both and it is stunning. Simply stunning" "I'll be the talk of the town for sure" she said, as she swished and swirled around the fitting room. "This will be the best ball ever" she proclaimed. "I'll be back in 2 days to pick it up". Geneva sank down into a huge rocker and uttered a huge sigh of relief.
Challenge Translation:

This weeks' challenge for me is "learn to read". Somewhere in the cheater's email it said to make a black and white card which I obviously missed. Anyway it's done now, and I'm all pink, silver and white. HERE is mine.
