Default Can I use Scor Tape with organza ribbon?

I want to run a piece of thin (1/4 inch) organza ribbon across a card. Can I put down a line of 1/4 inch Scor Tape to hold it in place? If it were grosgrain, I wouldn't give it a second thought, but the organza is sheer. I tested with a scrap of the ribbon and it looks fine, the tape doesn't show or make the ribbon look weird, but I am wondering if the glue on the Scor Tape will somehow begin to leak through the sheer ribbon and ruin the card.

Thanks.

I think it would show through the ribbon. Try the adhesive recommended for adhereing vellum...Scotch makes one and it does not show through at all. Maybe test it on a scrap before putting it on your card. Hope this helps.

Can you wrap the ribbon ends around to the back of the card front and anchor the ends on the back? This works well if you make your "front" a tad smaller than the actual folded card, and you get a frame effect as a bonus.

Yes, I can wrap it. The card front is layered, there's even a layer behind the piece that the ribbon is meant for. Maybe that's what I'll do.
