We had stockyards in Omaha where I grew up and then went back to for 22yrs, They were there for many MANY yrs, and although they are no longer there, the main building is and it's a hot spot for banquets now (I think it is a national landmark) all in the name of progress, They have built up the area but I say it's just all about the buck. Yes it was a very aromatic area of town. I just think it was a shame that they took it out.
