Does anyone have the hexagon punch from Creative Memories?
While cleaning my craft area today I found a double hexagon punch from Creative Memories and I'm wondering if the smaller hexagon on that punch would fit the Honeycomb embossing folder?

I have the honeycomb embossing folder on order from Stampin Up. If anyone has this folder, could you please measure the smaller hexagon. I am looking for a hexagon punch and I want to make sure it will fit. Fionna 51, I saw the creative memories punch on e-bay. I want to make sure it is the right size before I buy it. Thanks.
Marian
The openings on the embossing folder are:
Flat to flat across the hexagon is between 5/8 and 11/16 inch
Point to point across the hexagon is 3/4 inch
My CM punch, which is the smaller of their two hexagon punches, has two hexagons. One is labeled 3/4 inch and one is labeled 1 inch.
I punched some hexagons with the smaller punch (3/4 inch) and they nestle quite nicely into the hexagons made from the SU honeycomb embossing folder, but there is no spare room. They fit snugly but comfortably into the embossed space.

Thanks so much for posting this. Had wondered ever since seeing the SU honeycomb folder whether or not the CM hexagon would fit. Have the punch you mentioned; rarely used it. Now I will. Guess this means I need to order the Honeycomb folder now...
I'm the dorkbutt... I just purchased that punch for um. $47 including shipping. Oh well, now I will have that punch to go with my honeycomb folder. Ever since I saw a picture of card with embossed honeycomb and punch outs by hexagon punch.... I've been wanting it like white on rice. LOL!
I'm so glad that someone had the same question I did. After seeing Fionna's post I went to the top shelf to dig out some CM boxes and within minutes had that little hexagon punch in my hands. Awesome. Now I can create using our EF and punch out inserts with ease. Thanks, ladies.

That is great!!! I just ordered the embossing folder from my SU! consultant, and didn't even think about my CM hexagon punch - now I'm super excited!!!
Darn, now I wish I had bought that punch years ago but back then I was thinking "why"...LOL
Funny how some things get reborn in a new and better way!
That is why I can't throw anything out. You never know. I have the CM punch and never used it. Thought it would be good for cropping pictures when I scrapbook. Haven't started scrapbooking but when I do I will have the folder to go with the punch. Pays to be an organized hoarder. :p

Just bought the hexagon punch on ebay. Paid too much so I will be making a ton of cards w/ this. I figured I could use alot of scraps tp justify the purchase(that's my story and I'm sticking to it!).
ok so I had to quit reading this thread and go to my craft room to see if I have that punch and guess what? I have the punch, I have not used it in a very long time. I already made my order and recieved it but didnt order the embossing folder. Now I have to order it.
