Got some at Lowes for the bottom half of each window since the bedrooms are on the first floor. We are used to second floor bedrooms and not having neighbors so close. Our bedroom window is across from the neighbors patio...about 30 feet away. We've kept the blinds closed because of that but I like the daylight. Might as well be in the basement if you keep the blinds closed, IMO.

that is one thing I enjoy in this house, the ability to have sun shine and simple day light in side... the other house was always so dark
