Definitely glad I went out shopping today! Except that I wanted stuff for salad, didn't/couldn't get lettuce - no romaine, no romaine hearts, and the iceberg they had was 2.49 for a head about the size of a grapefruit. That is just craziness. I wanted a largish piece of salmon too - was going to do salmon for dinner, then a pasta salad for lunch the next day with the leftover salmon. No fresh salmon (which is unusual). Had to ask the produce manager in order to get gala apples and cucumbers.
Glad I went today though - sun is out & bright, but it is getting cold. Currently -11C (12F) and -21C (-6F) with the windchill. The daytime HIGH tomorrow is supposed to be -23C (-9F) with windchill taking down to as much as -35C (-31F). Our predicted highest temperature for the next week is something like -13C.
Anybody want to come to stamp club tomorrow night?
Can I just say - indoor hobbies are a good thing!
