Wendy- great challenge! I got out my new from Christmas SU set- Pennant Parade- and combined it with my pennant punch (which I had been using for 3 dimensional Christmas trees). I also used Flourishes' Italian Gardens for my sentiment. Here's Flavors of Life

I was watching "The Secret Garden" (1993) and this inspired this card. I used SU's Bliss, and my Garden Riley stamps. Added some embossing for my pink daisy, and some bling- with a multicolored "rope" for my banner. Here's Garden Bliss

For the flag challenge- used SU's Snow Angels, I cut out the central square of this ME invite, flipped it, stamped this little person, and cut it using Spellbinder's Lacey Circles. Added a green embossed snowflake background, yarn, and two flags. Here's Snow Angel TFL!

Yep, I'm on the banners band waggon too. Might as well enjoy the trend and join in the fun. I love how it enhanced this card and gave me a chance to make my card a bit smaller to accomodate the banner. Gptta break the mold some time!
Used a heart punch to make the swallowtail ends on my banner. Found the idea on Pinterest. Here's the link: Cards / fabulous
Discovered that the heart punch can makes 3 unique ends/tails on a banner tag - swallowtail, point (rounded point, actually) and a combo of swallowtail and rounded point. I am LOVING this easy way to make a simple strip of paper look like it has a die cut end!
