I have a little Christmas money and a strong urge to organize my stamp pads. Right now, I have a varied assortment of thrift store finds: CD racks, 8 track holders, etc. I really would like to get it organized. I have many different brands of pads (actually over 100) but I think I could RAK a few away. And some are dry and ready to pitch.
So what is your recommendation?
If you can find one, the old napa valley cassette holders are great. I know there are similar products available for ink pad but don't know where right now.

What you are using now is just what I am using too. If you find something better not costing an arm & a leg as we say, post it for us all here who are still looking. :-)
Wow! I'm impressed by the number of stamp pads you have. I don't have quite that many.
Right now I use a storage system that Michaels used to carry. It's actually getting to be full and I'm considering getting rid of some of my stamp pads.

I found an excellent storage solution for Distress Inks and Archival Inks that works for me. I use a KaiserCraft OTP 25 drawer unit kit. The only other ink pads I have are SU, which has it's own storage solution.
I probably won't be of much help with a uniform idea to fit so many brands. Good luck with your search.

Hey Diann, how r u? I recently purchased a marker organizer from "Organize more" and I'm quite happy with it. They have all kinds of crafty storage, and their prices are reasonable. Each day they put one of their organizers on special! Welcome to OrganizeMore! - easy organizing.
I have two of these with the light blue outside: 48 Ink/ ReInk Organizer
My distress reinkers do stick out some but it doesn't bother me. I could use another one...LOL!
My Christmas present was from Stamp-n-Storage. I received two of the SU stamp pad shelves.... a 60 unit and a 30 unit. They have them to fit SU pad and TH pads. Just google it and you'll find their web site. They are wonderful and I'm so happy to have them. There are also pictures of how people used their's. HTH Kate
I didn't respond because I love my stamp pad storage that my son designed for me and it's not for sale. My son cut the pieces and I glued them together. I wish someone would make something like this.
They are basically acrylic boxes that hold 3 rows of stamp pads. The acrylic glue is a pain but if you wanted something similar you could take your diminsions to your local acrylic supplier and have them cut the pieces.
My other option is Organize More for random size pads. These are the white wood storage shown in the picture.
I just bought one of the ink pad holders from organize more this year and love it. Right now it is sitting on top of my desk and supported by the wall. I also have the smaller one for the distress inks. Love them! I am actually thinking of getting another one and them having my DH mount them to the wall. I waited until they were on sale also.

I'm in the process f giving away 70 retired su ink pads because I just don't have the space to store them anymore..... They've been in a box and you know what they say, out of sight, out of mind.....
So a local gs troop is getting them all... I wish I had a better storage option. All the in colors (that I have to have lol) are causing me issues!!! Lol

This is a picture of the one I have. I had looked on Ebay for quite awhile and about 2 years ago, I found this. I looked tonight and did not see anything like it. It does hold SU as well as my other pads. It was a bit pricey, but I do not have wall space for one large enough to hold all of my pads. This holds 120 pads and rotates. It is made very, very well. A good friend ordered the stamp pad holder from Organize More and really likes that. I have their ribbon holder and they too are good quality--pricey, but worth it!

My FIL made me one of the lazy susan types many years ago and I like it but it takes up a lot of space on my table. I used my Christmas money to get one of the Stamp-n-Storage ink pad, marker, refill holders. It will be here at the beginning of the week! I am really excited.
I think I want to paint mine white......still thinking though.

Diann, Scrapbook.com also has some ink pad storage, they have what is called the porta ink dual traveler. The "dual" will hold 48 ink pads and the top also has room for your SU refills. I have a CTMH tower filled with CTMH ink pads. I'm actually planning on purchasing the Porta ink dual to house my SU ink pads. Scrapbook.com: Supplies and Scrapbooking Ideas This is a little less expensive and will work for what I need.
