Sonya, I'm glad it spoke to you. Unless you are living as a hermit in the middle of Appalachia, I have no doubt you will find that person. They are all around us. We just have to look for them. Because, if we don't make a concerted effort to find them, they will get lost behind the "noise" of daily life. I can't fix Congress. I can't fix world hunger. I can't fix terrorism. But I can choose to be present and do something good and unexpected for one other person. And, who knows, maybe that is just what they need to "pay it forward." Imagine -- an epidemic of kindness sweeping across the country and the world. How nice would THAT be!
