What you have in your eye - is it like a dot just "floating around"? I've had that before, & I just have to put up with it until it clears - is microscopic & I can't seem to get it out by rinsing my eye out.

No, I am not sure what it is. I am hoping it's not a piece of wood from putting wood into the fireplaces. The things you speak of sound like "floaters". If that is what you have, you can not get them out. You just have to deal with them.
