Default I have a question about scor/paper trimmers

I was looking at the new Stampin up scor/paper trimmer. I'd like to have something like this. It's item #126889 and is 29.95
I am wondering what scor/paper trimmer you own. If you have this SU item what do you like or dislike about it?

I've been looking at that myself. It's wider than most trimmers and I think I would like that. I get tired of having to pull out the arm on an A2 card.

I have been looking at it as well just now. Do you mean the SU Simply Scored? I was trying to compare it to the Score-Pal. I like both for different reasons. I need more reviews on the SU tool.

No, not the simply scored. That's just for scoring. We're talking about the new Stampin Trimmer on page 180 of the big catalog. It is a trimmer and a scorer. I am more interested in the trimmer part. The base is 6 1/4" wide and the extended arm goes to 14 1/2" so it is wider than what I have.

As for the Simply Scored, the size is the same as the Martha Stewart scoreboard.

Oh, ok. Just went on the website to check it out. Looks like it has that diagonal scorer that others don't. Thanks.

The diagonal scoring plate is a separate purchase. I have it. It is nice when making envelopes. It fits the Martha Stewart scoreboard and that is what I use the diagonal plate on since I already had it. They also have a new plate called the Borders Scoring Plate and I am told it will also fit the MS so I will be ordering that at our next class! I watched a video on how to use it...

I have the older version of the SU trimmer and the Martha Stewart scoreboard. Love them both, but would probably love the new SU trimmer more because it's wider.

I have the new Stampin Trimmer from Stampin' Up and I really like it. It cuts very well and cuts straight. I also like the width (6 1/4 inches) so you don't have to extend the cutting arm to cut standard cards. This also makes it nice for cutting 12x12 paper in half. I've had it for about a month and it really got a work out in December for Christmas cards and other items. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the scoring. It doesn't seem to give me what I would term a "deep" score. I'm not sure if I'm not doing something right though.
