Vagabond Help

I am freaking out right now. I literally just got my Sizzix Vagabond this afternoon, and I think I broke it already. I am using it with the Lifestyle Crafts Genius platform. I wanted to use an embossing folder, so I used a sandwich of the platform, the folder, and then the B mat, which is what the genius platform said on the box to use. When I put it through, it got stuck in the vagabond and it made a funny noise. no burning or anything but just a noise.

I got it out, but now the rollers aren't picking up anything, nothing is going through the machine. I feel like a freaking idiot, and I am hoping someone has had this problem and can help?

There is another thread here entitled, 'Genius Platform'. It has a link to a Sizzix website. This person said that Sizzix does not endorse the use of the Genius Platform with their machine even though some of them are listed/shown on the info sheet.

Hope your Vagabond is okay especially since you, literally, just got it.

You might want to let the machine rest a bit and then see if you can move the stack back out. If it moves a little and stops, let it rest again. Keep coming back and inching it out if possible. This sometimes works. If it doesn't work, you might want to contact Lifestyle Crafts and see if they will cover the damage to your machine.

Also, if your Vagabond did not come with a set of gauge keys, do visit the Sizzix blog and request a set. They are so helpful in measuring your stack to make sure it isn't too thick for your machine.
