TLC408 ~ Inchie on a Twinchie ~ (12/17/12)
Hello everyone....we only have a little over a week left till Christmas!!! Are you ready for the big event or frazzled like me??? I actually bought Christmas cards this year...yikes!!! Anyway....on with the show!! !
It's my turn to host this weeks TLC and I had a little help from my DD Holly. A while back we were talking about some techniques for future challenges and she suggested using inchies. When I told her that had been done, she suggested using twinchies ( a 2 inch square). I thought that one had been done, too, so she said "well, how about an inchie on top of a twinchie?" And so, a challenge was born...Inchie on a Twinchie !!!!
1. You can use an inchie or cut 1" squares out of cardstock, chipboard, cork...what ever material you
2.Your twinchie should be a 2" square...you can use any material you like as long as you can stamp on it
3. You can use any colors you want or any number of inchie/twinchies...just as long as the inchie is on top of the twinchie
4. Have fun and be creative
Holly's Sample
Cardinal Tw-inchie
My Sample
Christmas Candle
Remember when uploading to use keyword TLC408 (no spaces)
You can view the entire TLC408 Gallery here !!
Happy Stamping!!!

This looked like such a fun challenge. I combined it with the color challenge. I, of course, got lots of inspiration from the galleries of both challengs. (just in case you see similarities) :-)
I tried the Glitter Embossing technique on the snowflake, but I don't have a brayer, so it didn't work. I adjusted and added the Emboss the edges.
Here's my card,

I got a set of Christmas inchies for Christmas so backtracked to find this challenge and take part in it. Here's what I made:
