Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

Although I have made over 150 Christmas cards this year none of them were for me. They all went to various charities to give or use for fund-raising.

So today my goal is to make 50 for myself and get them to the post office before sunset.

This morning I completed 18 so I am almost halfway there! Went with clean and simple and all the same for my personal cards this year to speed up the process!

For next year, I am going to do about 10 each of 4 different designs. At least that is the plan, lol.....I think I would have quite a time doing 40 of one design. I bought my Christmas stamps yesterday but also forgot to get the one international stamp I need for Europe. I have mailed cards very close to Christmas before and this looks like one of those years, but I will get them out. Some will be store bought though........

I'm glad we're all moving along. Since the term has just finished, I now have a month off from work. Now I can really get down to business. ;)

Mine are done and sent!! Made 30 this year.

I finished mine yesterday! The insides and backs are stamped, and now all I have to do is write them out and mail them. My plan is to get that done by the end of the week. I've only received 2 cards so far, so I don't feel that I'm behind.

OMGoodness! I wasnt going to bother this yr but then I felt so guilty because I've gotten so many unused punches and dies that I've been working non-stop since 10am this am!! I'm exhausted! lol AND I'M NOT EVEN DONE! I started out thinking I'll just whip up some quick CAS cards but Nooooo....I chose a very time consuming design :rolleyes: Shoot me! lol Will finish them up tomorrow since the liquid pearls need a good cure overnight. These card are going to some VERY SELECT SPECIAL people!!!!

I had planned to make more cards tonight but our heating has gone out (not impressed only had a new system installed 30 days ago!!!). I still have cards to make for my immediate family and a few gifts. Got loads done today though!

Good for you!. I can so relate to your post.. I had previously posted that I had only made 7 but I actually did a grand total of 15. My first year to send out hand made Christmas cards! I bought the rest cause I usually send out 30 to 40. Yes, mine went to the people who I thought would appreciate them.

lol I whittled my list to the truly worthy and hope to WOW them! Done and mailed today...phew!
