Awwww... I think it's great that you have the memories and wrap the box of chocolate covered cherries with those memories in place. GREAT story, Linda!
I really like chocolate covered cherries, too.... but I don't have a great memory with them. Funny thing you should mention them today... just this morning my DS asked if I'd ever tried chocolte covered blueberries (lie the cherries only blueberries instead). I said I hadn't; he hasn't either. But he said he would buy a box and bring them when he comes for Christmas and we'll try them together.... so we'll create that memory.
I like lilacs, too... they smell so wonderful!
