Default Creative ideas for wrapping multiple gift cards?

For Christmas I am planning on giving my brother and SIL a number of gift cards. Probably 8 +/-, though I haven't actually bought them yet.

I was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas, crafty or not, for wrapping and giving them, something a little more than just multiple individual gift card holders.

TIA for your ideas!

Could you find an inexpensive card/ID holder that the cards would fit into? You could then box/wrap that.

Or you could make a mini album using name badge holders (verify the giftcards will fit first) and maybe use images/embellishments that go with the giftcard (for example shoes for a DSW gc, tools for a Home Depot gc. etc.)

Or you could make a fantasy box and put the giftcards in the drawers. There should be a tutorial in the resources section of this site.

Or you could find/make the smallest box a gc would fit into and find/make additional boxes, each one slightly larger than the previous box, so you'd have a tower/pyramid of boxes (each with a giftcard).

I gave our dd a shopping spree last year for Christmas. I purchased a variety of gift cards from her favorite stores. I purchased a Christmas card holder from Aaron brothers on sale; it has silver wires coming out from the base with a clip on the end. So it was a cool way to present them.

You could maybe make some tags just a little larger than the gift cards, then add a little pocket to some, to slip the card in, some funky paper clips/mini bulldog clips to hold others, then string a whole bunch onto a Key-ring? I do like the idea from TeeGeeDee of a card holder wallet. You could make something similar with little envelopes stuck back to back & decorated. Do you have the little mini envelopes over there that people use to send their kids to school with lunch money in? They would be about the right size.

I'd be most likely to add some inexpensive items to the mix and wrap each gift card with a separate item. You can vary the items in size but the dollar store could be the source of your gifts if you don't want to spend much extra.

One year, we gave my mom a number of gift cards and I made a paperbag album to give them to her. I called it "Memere's Week" and mixed the gift cards in with pics of the locations of the cards and my mom at those locations. They were all places that she goes to each week -- the hairdresser, the grocery store, breakfast at a certain local restaurant. I wrote a little poem -- two lines to a page -- as the journaling.

I like to put each into various size boxes and wrap. Then I put all those boxes into a larger box and wrap that.

I bought an inexpensive little baby Christmas tree (like $2 or $3 for about 12inch tall tree) and wrapped each card and attached to the tree all over (I've also done the same thing with instant lottery tickets and attached to the tree with ribbon). Turns out cute.
