Default New SU Paper Trimmer

What are your thoughts on the new SU paper Trimmer? I've read where someone is very annoyed at the reflective aspect of the plastic covering that protects the numbers, grid from wearing off. I'm considering one but would hate to be disappointed. Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you for your reply. I was under the understanding that underneath the plastic sheet that comes on the new trimmer there is a permanent protective plastic (?) shield on the trimmer that keeps the grid markings from wearing off and that is the part that supposedly is annoying because of it's reflective qualities. I'm wondering if this reflective quality is bothersome to others.

I just ordered one of these as my 1/2 price item from my hostess party. I am so anxious to give it a try. I have a nice Fiskars, and an older black one that I can't remember the name of, so it's time to move up! I am so anxious to try this! I also purchased the ink pad carousel holder as my other 1/2 price item! I need help with my ink pads!! LOL!! Any one else have an opinion on this new cutter from SU!???

I have it and love it! This is the cutter that I take to crops! I did a blog post on the trimmer with pictures. I don't want to break rules on the board so you can search it if you are interested, my blog link in my signature.

I recommend it. I like the scoring on the same track and saved me lots of time when making my Christmas cards. It is really nice when I go to a crop, I don't have to take my score board with me!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new trimmer! It's wider than my older cutter which is so handy when cutting cards. I just feel like there's alot of little things that make it so great. Like when you make a cut and slide the blade up, it's out of the way to rearrange your cardstock to then pull the blade back to make another cut. It's just a little thing, but makes your life just a little easier! Love having the scoring blade on there as well, that remains up and out of your way until you need it. SU did a great job with this new trimmer.
