Hello everyone .... WOW what a wonderful group of talented people there are on here. I've been crafting for as long as I can remember & I do tend to dip in & out trying all sorts of various techniques but my first love is papercrafts - stamping especially & now since the introduction of the wonderful Copic type pens I do love my " colouring in " sessions ! So therapeutic ! I also love to create jewellery ... I'm no expert so I just make things for friends / family & myself to enjoy. I said in the title " nervously " waving at you all because I feel such an amateur amongst you talented ladies ! I had a good look around the gallery & the cards on display are just AMAZING ... I'm in awe of your skills !
I had a try at putting together a blog but not many people seem to visit me :( but maybe someone here would pop in & let me know what they think of my cards / jewellery ??? It's called Angie's Craft Cabin.
It would be so encouraging to find a few friends here who I can share my love of all things crafty

Hi Chorley Cake, welcome - you will LOVE this place. I am fairly new too and everyone is so nice and supportative. I love Copics too, and like you - they are very theraputic. The little girl in me still loves to color. ;-)
Hi Chorley Cake and welcome from down under (New Zealand)! You are in the right place for meeting heaps of friendly crafters. I have made some jewellery, out of polymer clay, as well as make cards and paint (watercolours). Have fun exploring the forum and do ask if you have any questions.
Stephanie

Welcome from Pennsylvania! I'm married to a Scouser -- kidnapped him last year, and I'm not giving him back unless I'm allowed to move there with him! Your cards look adorable, and I love your coloring.

Liverpool isn't that far away from us - I'm originally from Burtonwood near Warrington, mention this to your hubby - I'm sure he will know the place.
I went to college in St.Helens & was surrounded by " scousers " I even had a scouse accent myself in my teenage years, but I've lived in Chorley for 32 years now so I've adopted their accent !!!
We were in Liverpool 3 weeks ago - tell him it's STILL raining there !
Welcome Chorley Cake! I have only just joined, too, and am so pleased I did. There is so much to discover here and such helpful, talented people. I would love to visit your blog and will do so when I am back home over Christmas. Blogspot is one of the many sites blocked here in China and I am getting by here without a VPN to bypass the Great FireWall. I look forward to seeing your creative work.
