We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This week, and every week in the future we will be posting both a 12 X 12 AND a 8-1/2 X 11 double page layout.
These are designed by Cindy and Tracy.
You will NOT find these sketches anywhere else!! How exciting is that?
You do not have to fill ALL empty spaces with photos, you can stamp, embellish or use your imagination and fill in the blanks! Just make sure you USE THE SKETCH we provide!! You must follow our sketches to be eligible to win the prize this week. If a double page layout is too much for you to do, we will still judge one page layouts that follow the sketch (just delete one page) If you have any questions post them in here and someone will help you.
Please click the following LINKS to view the Sketches
*Special Note* Please make sure you read the notes in my sketch this week...There are some more options...Thanks and show me your skils ladies! This week Cindy is away...So, at the last minute I chose to give you an inpiration sketch to use that I chose from the gallery...This lovely layout is fun and I can't wait to see what you do with it...Hopefully, Cindy Lou Who won't put me in a corner for changing up her routine...;)
Scan or take a photo or your work, upload with SBSC36 in the keywords, and post it here for us all to see. Please be sure to type SBSC36 with NO SPACES. Be sure you use these keywords AND in your title so we can search for judging!
Tip: If you like you can type what your journaling says in the notes section of your upload in your galley. Be sure to JOURNAL somewhere on your page this is important when we judge!!
Please keep in mind SUNDAY is NO UPLOAD DAY! This means NO UPLOADING! Please do not upload assuming that they will just approve it on Monday AM, as they get slammed with Sunday Uploads. Thanks! (((hugs)))
I hope you gals enjoy the change in plans for this week! Have a fantastic weekend! Happy Hugs and have tons of fun scrappin' and stampin'!
~Tracy~

Hey! She should have known not to leave you in charge if she wouldn't want a little change up huh!!!! hehe!! LOVE THEM BOTH!!! Will have to finish cleaning and get the couple things done around here before I can head to my house to start. Heck almost done cleaning and it is only 11:15!!! wahoo!
Yes, great sketches, can't wait to play again! Thanks for putting these together, Tracy!
Make sure you put SBSC36 (not 35) in the keywords. The original post says SBSC36 in the subject line, but later in the post is says to put SBSC35. I'm not trying to be picky ;-) , BUT I don't want anyone to miss out of the weekly contest by putting thier layout in the wrong category! I just noticed it when I was reading through the post.....
Enjoy the sketches!

I'm excited to try to do this week's sketch challenge- we were away last week for spring break skiing in CO, so... good pics but no stampin or SBing for almost two weeks-aaah!;)

You'll all have to grant me some poetic license here for a bright pink snow page, but those were the colors in all the girls' jackets, so... The flowers looked like snowflakes to me especially after I covered them with Versamark and Iridescent Ice to make them shimmer. I took 270 pictures in 5 days so I have a lot of scrappin to do!

Stop tattling on me!
JK, thanks for helping me out! I needed it this week! ;)

teehee...I know, I know....sorry!
You have to understand though, my DH is a writer and VERY particular on grammar (and I am usually not!), so he's ALWAYS spotting typos and grammatical errors everywhere he looks. (Thank goodness he doesn't always verbally correct me though, that would freakin' get old after a while!) So, anytime I actually spot a typo or error, I get a little excited cause I am never the first one to do so in my house! gotta love those writers!
I hope your week wasn't too bad!
Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!

No problem...When Cindy sends me the write up...I normally do the same thing but I just don't say anything...I am SO BAD about it but this week I goofed twice...Of course it wasn't my original write up but still I was in such a hurry I missed my typos...So not like me! Thanks again! It's all good...I appreciate cha!
BTW, I can't stand to be corrected out loud...I find it to be quite rude...So glad your DH uses good manners! ;)
Okay!! I just finished a layout that I have been agonizing over for two days!! Maybe now I can get to these GREAT sketches!! Woohoo! Well....maybe tomorrow. I think it's beddie bye time for Kimmie.....zzzzzzzzzzz!
WOW! I forgot how much fun scrappin really is...I am so pleased with my page that I coudn't stand not sharing it...Plus, chickas this is the first time I have completed an SB Challenge!!!! YAAAHOOO! I assure you there will be more pages to come...I may just have to work on this album some tomorrow during "Family Nap Time"! LOL
I hope you can see all the fun stuff I did on my page. My page is a 12X12 but I used page 1 of my sketch (8.5X11). I have not completed my journaling yet...I couldn't get in my head exactly how I wanted to add it to my page...So that will come later. I used flowers from my DS's boutonnaire, poor flower never knew what hit it! ;)
Hope you gals like my page...I am totally loving the results...But it is my page ya know...
I got it done! I used racys 81/2 x 11 sketch and did a 12x12 page.I wanted to fill up the space so I used 3 verticle photos instead of 2 horizontal!! Oh and I just got some Prima flowers yesterday and I am in love! I 3 different colors and I want to go back and get more!!

Sadly I am one of those too. I find typos everywhere!!! My DH hates it when I correct him while he's answering an email. "I'm gonna run spellcheck", he says. I've learned to leave him alone...but he's always calling from the computer room "Sally, how do you spell...". I'm not an English major, and make mistakes myself, but am still very anal about it. I actually use my dictionary, hows that for obsessing!
BTW- Great job everyone, I am amazed that there are already several pages done, keep it up!
Here are some pages for the sketch challenges this week. I am finishing up 2003 for my DS and DD's albums, so no fabulous pictures or pages, but ones that I think they'll want in their books. The sketches are great and I have been using them A LOT!
These 12x12 sketches are for DD's album. The right side is turned once counterclock wise. The b/g paper is from a stash that Nadelle gave me this weekend. It's very pretty but doesn't show up a lot in the photos.
Tracy's sketch made into a 12x12, right side only, but flipped it. I've been wanting to get this page done for a while, but my "story" was so long it didn't fit most layouts I'd come up with, but knew right away I was going to use it on this challenge. Thanks again for helping me get my page done, now I just need to do the rest of that weeks adventures.
Looks like I'm not going to get done this week. The cat eating my page just threw off my timing. Haven't had time to go back and re-do. I've been meaning to work on these pages for several months, so I will finish them this weekend. I haven't even had time to leave comments for everyone, so I'll try to get that done today
