Nov 11 was my mums birthday, Rememberence Day in England, we always call it Poppy Day as they sell paper poppies to raise money for soldiers and they have parades to remember the soldiers who died in the two world wars and all the other conflicts since and also to remember our serving soldiers too.

I think that is our Veterans day that we have the poppies out .. November 11th
