The first holiday season my husband and I were together (dating) I decided to go shopping on black Friday - only my second time ever. His two young sons, five and nine at the time, wanted to go with me and were SO excited. I picked them up at 6:00 a.m. and headed out. We had fun and the best part is we were finished by noon and met (now) hubby for lunch. The kids thought it (and I) was the coolest thing to get up and shop that early. It is exciting but HAVE A PLAN! Makes it much less frustrating if you know where you're going and what you want ahead of time. Have fun!
