I finished all my cards for the HYCCT challenge, and they are all in my member gallery, but I'm not sure how to link them up. Is there some where I can find the instructions?
HELP-- I need someone to tell me what kind of card to make today!!!! I am so sad that HYCCT is over....I am a much more productive stamper when someone gives me an 'assignment'. My cards will be in the mail today. Can't wait 'til next year!

Right below Member's Gallery is the gallery that says "Hope You Can Cling To Gallery 2012". You need to go in and edit each card and move it from your Member's Gallery to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery 2012 to qualify for the prize drawings!

They are actually in the HYCCT gallery, and correctly keyworded.
To link them up, jillsgram, you need to go to the chat thread relevant to the challenge.
Have your card open in another window - then just cut and paste the link for the card from the browser address bar into a new post in the chat thread.
It's not obligatory, but it does mean the hostess is more likely to see your card , unless they regularly do a search by the keyword.
Once they're in the right gallery, which they are, and correctly keyworded, which they also are, the rest is a lesser detail.

LOL!!! Me too!!! that's why I am going to try to do more of the weekly challenges. But it seems like I put those off too easily...
I guess I asked the wrong question! All of my cards are finished and in the Hope You Can Cling To gallery. Now I would like to link them up into the **IMPORTANT INFO FOR PRIZE DRAWING** forum. Can you help me with that. I am not very computer smart!!!

That was the hardest part for me last year! Can't even remember how I did it LOL! Sabrina or someone more computer savvy than me can give better instructions. But its basically jus listing the challenge and then posting the link. On my Mac, I can drag the link to the post. But if you have a PC, I'm of no help. Good luck - and congrats on finishing all the challenges!!
I opened 2 splitcoast windows. One was my gallery and I would click on card hycct1201a, then copy that address that shows in the address line. In the second scs window, I had my reply to the prize thread. I typed 1201a, then pasted the line to my card. I did this for each card and finally hit submit when I was done. There is probably an easier way....I am not very computer-savvy.
Thank you --- it wasn't easy but I got it done. Thanks for all your help!
Great. It would have been just the same as linking into a challenge thread, only putting them all into one. Well done on getting finished! I still have to make two custom envelopes before I can call myself done.
I AM DONE! This has been a LONG TWO MONTHS! Our local card shop worked on cards for this challenge the whole month of September and we sent 170 cards to this challenge and now I finished 40 more cards for myself to send for this challenge! It is such a great cause but now I NEED to make cards for myself. Thank heavens I did the Christmas Card challenge so my Christmas cards are done. I did not have any cards in my box to use until the last couple of days when I pushed a few through. Now I am working on my January cards!
Thanks to all the ladies that hosted these daily challenges! It was fun and for such a good cause. Our local shop and customers have decided to give our cards next year to our LOCAL Cancer Center instead of sending them away. Sorry, but cards are needed here too. I will make sure I do this myself though. There are always enough cards to go around - I make sure of that! thanks again!
Done! Took my box of cards to the post office today! Yeah! So happy to have completed each and every challenge...but sad in a way. I always enjoy this and it's hard to believe we're done for another year. Best get to work on my Christmas cards now...before you know it...it will be here!
Done. Even with the bookkeeping. I might be able to get a few more made since I won't mail them until next week. Would be nice to see a round 3500 in the gallery and to send a stuffed box!

I'm so excited! Me too!! I need to post the final eight projects, but...I. AM. DONE!!!

Right now that would mean only another 151 - I'm sure we'll make that with another 2 days to go. 2 days - yikes, I'd better get my skates on today if I want to get a couple that are in bits on the desk actually assembled into real cards!
As I was posting my final cards, a thought came to me. Who are the hostesses for these challenges? That is, are the volunteers? Mods? Dirty Dozen members? Random people?
Some are return hostesses from last year, some are new - I keep a running list of people who want to be hostesses throughout the year and fill my slots as those come in!
The HYCCT gallery is amazing as usual. While sadly I did not get to participate this year I am going through my card stash and sending a box of cards just so they can have as many as possible. Thank you again SCS and Lydia and her team for making this wonderful thing possible. Next year will be a better year!
Whew - I joined in midway through but managed to make a card for every challenge. What a fabulous idea. When I linked up my finished list there were over 3300 cards in the gallery. If most of those make their way to TX that is quite a feat SCS pulled off. Well done.
I finished all the challenges, but since I am fighting my own cancer battle I will not get them loaded to the web until the weekend. Thank you to all that participated and hosted these challenges. You are all awesome.

Thank you to all the hostesses who have challenged and inspired us to create cards for this worthy cause. I didn't get as many cards made as I had hoped to, but I enjoyed playing along with all the wonderful people here at SCS this month. I am boxing my cards up today and mailing them before I get inundated by the holidays. Looking forward to next year's HYCCT card drive!
I want to thank all the Hostesses for this month of wonderful creativity for a fantastic cause. This was my first year to do the HYCCT challenges.
I had so much fun and I really needed it as this has been a tough year for my family. Earlier this year my aunt lost her battle with Cervical Cancer. And then my mother was also diagnosed a week later with Cervical Cancer too. Thank God she is in remission. I do have to take her back for her checkup in January

Would love to share some of my crafting with you - my blog
I really enjoyed being a hostess - it was an honour and a privilege. My challenge was in memory of a friend who died some years ago, but much in my thoughts was another SCS friend who died from cancer on Monday :-(.
I was trying to go for 50 as a nice round number and to try to boost the total to that 3500, but with two fingers bandaged my crafting today was reduced.
Thanks to everyone on sc for doing such a wonderful thing...My two best friends have been diagnoised with breast cancer and my sister was awhile back. I myself had a scare at this years mammogram...my heart goes out to all the victims and their families~Prayers and hugs to all`
