DEC12VSNMINI2 ~ Friday, Nov. 9th ~ 6:00pm EST ~ All Ears
Title: All Ears
Hostess: Dina (dini)
Day/Date: Friday, Nov. 9, 2012
Time: 6:00pm EST
Oh, the comfort -- the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, Through good times and stormy times, there’s nothing more comforting than having a true friend close by. When you’re down, or super-duper-excited, or just need to process some new idea out loud, it’s so sweet to have someone who’s just willing to listen.
Having neither to weigh thoughts, nor measure words –
but pouring them all right out -- just as they are -- chaff and grain together --
Certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them -- keep what is worth keeping --
and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.
My challenge to you is to make a card that has an EAR showing on it somewhere – please let it be attached to something – no ear-shaped cards, please… ew!! Use an image of a person, animal, stuffed animal… or corn, if you’re just feeling punny. I just want to see an ear on there!
