I could be wrong here, but I think the "robotics" just gives the surgeon a better look at what they are removing.

Laproscopic (whether robotics or not) is the way to go. Smaller incisions. Quicker recovery.

I don't believe you can do laproscopic if you have endometrosis.

Just had laproscopic done (uterus plus ovaries removed) on Oct. 29th. They sent me home late that morning! First 2 days were a bit rough/painful. Day 3 managable. Am in Day 10 right now and re-started (slowly!) my usual walking routine. Should return to work on Monday, Day 14.
