Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to color challenge 400. I can't believe we are up to that number of weekly color challenges. Seems like not too long ago Betty was introducing challenge 300.
Speaking of Betty, our uber talented friend, is stepping down from the cc design team. She has been leading the group for 3 years now.
Her work & family responsibilities have to come first. So the rest of the team decided to dedicate this 400th challenge to her.
We have selected 3 challenges that she hosted since challenge 300 and are using those for this week. Hence the name "retro challenge".
Our idea is that you can choose any one of these 3 challenges and use the colors and dessert options from that challenge to create your card or project. Let us know which one you chose in your description.
Your keywords would be cc400 as well as the retro challenge you selected.
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC400 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here
A wonderful way to honor Betty, Mary. I always marvel at the gals who did a challenge week after week....many single-handedly for a long period of time. Betty gave us some wonderful combinations through the years. She will be missed. I chose her CC356 for my card today.

I doubled up challenges by making a masculine card for the Teapot Tuesday challenge. The color combination I chose was CC328, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake.
Great idea, Mary, to pay tribute to the many years of Betty's leadership! We'll miss you, Betty! Here's MY CARD using CC306.

I went with CC 328- blue, red and tan- for my color challenge. Image is from SU's Fly Fishing, and sentiment is from a McDonald's McCafe cup. Here's unwind, enjoy!

Mary, thanks for this wonderful challenge; and Betty, thank you for your dedication over the last 3 years and wishing you the best in all you do. You will be missed. Here is my card:
Wow! 400...thanks to all the members of the challenge team for all the hard work you do to make this challenge possible. I went with Cherry Night Cakes: Illusion of Love
400? Really? Here's to the next 400! For this challenge, I revisited CC356. Indigo, Limeade, gray, white. It is a mashup of stamps from my top three fave stamp companies: SU, Hero Arts & CTMH. The "new" element is a new SU snowflake stamp and the new-to-me color combo for a holiday card. CC400 Retro Christmas by lutheran - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Here is my card for yesterday's color challenge. I chose Betty's fab CC306 color combo and added dessert!
Wow, 400 colour challenges! I haven't been participating for long but congratulations, Betty, on such a great effort with these challenges. My card for this challenge -

I haven't worked with grays much - I usually use browns as my neutrals and this opened my eyes to how elegant grays can look!
