PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE #5 TASK 4-FINAL (OCT.2012)
Well just add some finishing touches this week. I see that many of you have already added some of the things I had in store this week, so if you have, just do the tasks that remain for you.
Add a title anywhere on your page.
Add a tag or bookplate with the date or put something else on the tagyou choose.
Add any other finishing embellishments and touches, including drop shadows.
Thats ityour page is complete!! Hope you had fun!
NOW UPLOAD:
- Remember to first save your page in its original version to maintain your layers in case you ever want to make changes or update it.
- Save your page for the web as a .jpg (600x600 or less) & upload to the Challenge 5-Task 4-FINAL Gallery (add keywords DGSCPR005Task4 and SBC12OCT) when you upload. Please also post a link to this weeks work in this thread.
NEXT WEEK: Since next Tuesday is a fifth week, Ill have a special challenge for you, then well start the November progressive challenge on November 6th.
A delicious autumn page! The blending is so nicely done and picks up on several different touches of the season. Nice attention to detail, right down to the triangulation! Thanks so much for playing.
I can count on you for originality. You've captured the season with your elements and words. Wonderful papers and colors too. Thank you for playing--hope you'll play in November too!
So I got them done last night, let them 'sit', and they're in the gallery.
It was interesting doing two projects at the same time - they were so different, yet things I learned from one showed up in the next one!
I 'cheated' on the Loreen layout ... I didn't add a tag. I couldn't find a place to put it where I liked it. I tried for an hour. So I decided that it was more important to have a layout I loved than to make sure I got all the challenge details. (sorry Wendy!) So, it's pretty much the same as Task 3, with a title added. (even deciding on that took an hour!)
Besides, I don't know when the photo was taken ... late thirties, early forties?
The Loreen layout turned into a labour of love ... and would never have happened without this challenge. Dh and my kids are all fairly artistic ... and they like it. I get all 'mushy' when I look at it.
Thank you so much Wendy for these challenges! You've helped me create something precious!
