Challenge Title: Strip Please
Hostess: Sewsplendidstamper AKA Victoria
Keyword: HYCCT1204
Date: Monday, October 4, 2012
Welcome to my challenge day of the third annual Hope You Can Cling To Challenge! I am SO excited to have you here, and so grateful for your participation in this inspiring event! If you've been with us for the first two years of this challenge - welcome back! If you're joining us for the first time - welcome! You will all have such a great time and make some great friends. Share the joy, the creativity, get some support, laugh and make cards!
As we all know, or will know, when you head in to get your mammogram you are asked to strip! So let's embrace it!
Use strips (or a strip if you've only had one mammogram so far) of papers, fabrics, or tapes as a background to anchor the focal image on your card. Straight, diagonal, zigzag, chevron...whatever strikes your fancy. Enjoy. And please strip

This is such a fun challenge! Wonderful samples! My physical and mammogram appointments are scheduled for next Thursday so I guess I'll be "stripping" then! I think setting that appointment up in October is a wonderful idea - I'll always be reminded when the Hope You Can Cling to Challenges start it's time to call for that appointment!
oh gosh! You ALMOST....but not quite...make mammograms sound fun.....I think I will try to remember all the pretty cards with strips on them from this gallery the next time I have to go for mine....which will be SOON! Bleck!
I won't be able to play until next week but .....great challenge and I CAN'T wait to play!
I've had zero mammograms, can I still play? (But no worries, I'm nursing so they're constantly being "examined".)
This is an awesome challenge! Can't wait to make a card!

Great challenge! Glad you didn't say we needed a strip for EACH mammo we've had -- I'd need a bigger card! This should give me reason to use the new MFT dies that I just got.
Good morning! I'm barely awake over here in the west coast but happy to see so many if you already creating. I'll be up in a bit and working on some other cards and hanging out here. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Fun? Well I admit I'm right at the age I need to start talking to my provider to get one or wait to 40. I don't have immediate family history but I have aunt on my mom's side history. I'd feel better having one earlier than later in my life. And thanks to my kids and the massive amount of milk I made while nursing I'm pretty sure I could have the smoosh while sitting in the next room having a pedicure. I wonder if the technician would be up for that.
Wasn't it Phylis Diller that said she used to be a 34 c now she's a 42 long?

tee hee! I STRIPPED... hadn't stretched so I left the pole out....
I used my AWESOME Stamp that I won during DTGD from Unity. Water Colored with TH Distress inks and went CAS... cuz when I'm stripped it's pretty SIMPLE!
Great challenge - still chuckling about the strip part - don't we all just dread standing there, and why is it never warm in that room, arghhh. Couldn't wait for work and errands to be finished today so I could get a card together. Saw this saying and couldn't resist typing it up and using it on my card .

Oh my gosh, I just read the posts before mine - ROTFL - I was thinking of the squish - you know if men had to do this it would be totally different. Just saying.

This was a good challenge and one that I can relate to! Mammograms...the OTHER unpleasant "M" word that we get to deal with as we get older. We all know that other word.
Here's my card!! And now I get to go enjoy everyone else's! There's some fabulous artwork in these challenges.
