That sounds like a good break! I'm looking forward to Columbus day. I'm sad to miss going to Atlanta this morning but after Molly's emergency vet bill, I have about $18 till I get paid on the 15th. Yay SOOOO glad I broke my discipline and charged stuff last weekend... NOT.
Fortunately Molly hasn't had a seizure since Monday night, which is a HUGE relief. That scared me to death. I spoke to my vet yesterday and again today and he agrees with emergency vet on waiting to see if it recurs instead of doing a lot more invasive and terrifyingly expensive tests.
It's scary enough going through a health crisis with a dog and not knowing how you'll pay the bills. I can't imagine going through it with a human being and not having insurance. The co-pay on the colonoscopy WITH insurance was insane.
