We went on a tour of the Trappist monastery near here a couple of weeks ago. When the monk took us on the tour, he said "the first exhibit is our oldest living monk. He is 101 years old. He used to be our tailor, now he just strings beads and makes Rosary Rings". This little man was just sitting there working and listening, and when the tour guide said something funny the little old man just started chuckling. He was in his own little world, just stringing beads and giggling to himself. He didn't have any teeth, and he was just laughing and laughing. If I have to be 101 years old I want to be happy like that. He was the highlight of our tour. That was an interesting place to visit, and they make wonderful breads and candy and stuff to sell in the gift shop.
This too shall pass.
It may pass like a kidney stone,
But it will pass.
