It was mentioned in their last email letter . New product which make envelopes and make diaginal scoring easier. I thought it might be released at CHA.'
I checked the website again but no details.
Oh man... Just poked around the Scor-Pal website for the first time in ages and see that the's a version THREE!?!?! With more score-lines and easier-to-read numbers!?!?! I had no idea! Would love to update to that one but am thinking maybe going for SU anyway since it has the little placeholders. I'm a die-hard "Scor-Gal"- Scor-Pal, Scor-Mat, Scor-Tape lover! Now I'm torn! Can anyone speak to the value of having the placeholders?
The place holders are handy for marking your score spots when you are doing multiples of a box or something with a few score lines or prepping lots of cards to use later. I usually jot down the measurements on a sticky but this is easier.

The SU scorer is just like the Martha Stewart one. Check out other posts comparing them and you will get a lot of opinions.
I am disappointed as I have just received the email from Scor-pal stating that the new scor - envi is only compatible with the latest version of the scor-pal board.
As this information was not stated when I pre-ordered for myself and 2 friends and we all have the original , our scor-envis will be useless ?
We can all buy new boards at a discounted price but the postage is horrendous and to buy new boards over here they are over $55 AUD each.
At least I suppose I have only wasted $31 but in this economy very dollar counts when not buying essentials.
We all love our scor-pals but to replace them at such a high cost to make use of "an extra" is just not vialable.

I have the Scor-Pal as well and am sad to hear that about the version 3 update with the mini envi tool.
I'm thinking about buying the SU! score board, but I'm not keen on using the scoring tool. I like the scoring tool that you use with both the SP and the MS scoring boards--but, I also like the markers and the diagonal board that SU! has for their score board.
Maybe I should sell BOTH my SP and MS boards, huh? Any takers??? ;)

Yes the Scor-Envi is only compatible with the blue Scor-Pal because the envelope measurements required are often at a 1/4 or 3/4 of an inch. Scor-Envi makes 12 different size envelopes. I have been experimenting and I can also make certain size "Enveloboxes" too. It is different to the MS one in that it fits in the right hand corner so it is much easier to use. I do not know about their envelope sizes because naturally I do not own this inferior knock off .

I have the original Scor-Pal, the pad that fits in it and the carrying case. Now I find out after waiting all this time that the scor-envy will not fit!!!!!
Simply can't believe it. I didn't upgrade because I couldn't justify spending additional dollars when the original met my needs.
As I say we could not make a Scor-Envi that would fir the older Scor-Pal because we needed grooves at 1/4 of an inch intervals. It just wasn't possible. We are offering an incredible discount to upgrade.

How about "Pay it Forward" to your local school, library, senior's home, Church craft group, a Church Prayer group who make cards for parishioners who are ill, Children Day Care Centre and so on.....

Can you tell us more about an "upgrade discount"? I can't find any reference to that on your website.
I, too, own and love the original Scor-Pal and Scor-Mat, but was getting ready to switch to the SU Simply Scored board AND diagonal insert - basically having to re-invest in a new score system. I think an upgrade discount is a nice incentive to keep someone like me in the Scor-Pal family, LOL!
Also, will the original "Scor-Mat" work with the newest full size Scor-Pal?
