I love books, so since I was a kid I never missed an opportunity to sign up to any library I could and borrowed as many books as I was allowed to {insert bookworm icon here} .
I remember one librarian from my elementary school who never failed to remind us: No doggy ears, please! Use a bookmark!! and it's kind of stuck in my head till know.
So since back to school means lots of books, my challenge for you is to make a bookmark . Any kind, any size - you can use any technique you want, just make a bookmark...and then use it too!
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday September 24th.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, SEP12VSNE , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
That doggie ear thing is STILL jerking my attention as I sit here with my little Pug.

I'm trying to mix it up with Mix-Ability every Friday (little behind!)
And here's a couple shots of the first twisted bookmark I tried using this technique. This one has a bit of punched edge trim to poke out of the closed pages.

Love this challenge and can never have too many bookmarks. I couldn't get the whole "Dog Ear-ed" out of my head, so, if you can't fight it; use it. Here it is:

I love Book marks and I needed a new one for my scriptures, so I made one that was very similar to the ones we made for girls camp. You see the front and the back... I hope it makes sense.

Well you will all be tucked up in bed by now I think. ;)
When the system crashed I decided to go shopping with DH and mum in law and then DH's bro came back to help get WyFi working.
Did you know it takes a highly skilled electical engineer with years and years of computer experiance to turn a modom off and back on and bingo there's the WyFi back again dur.
Anyway I'm now playing catch up and here's my bookmark Marg's Bookmark
Cheers
Marg - love the image you used and the magnet idea is just genious!
Angie - looks like your bookmark didn't link up - can you try again.. would love to see it!
ckbythesea - great fall colors on yours! love them!
Playing catch up on challenges this morning. This MAY have taken me a bit more than 45 minutes because I made a prototype first of the corner book mark.

this is my first *ever* VSN challenge and I can't figure out how to post a link to my card. I haven't "made 3 or more forum posts" and am not "allowed to post URLs to other sites", so I also can't seem to link to my gallery upload here...
now you have 3 posts, so you should be fine posting.. you can just copy and paste the link to your SCS gallery, or you can add the picture as attachment.
Thanks for playing!
