How about a visit to a "French Garden House" this weekend? Lidy, the curator of this small, family-run business was born and raised in Europe, and professes to love "the mix of elegant French Antiques with Shabby and Vintage pieces, and a few new items mixed in for fun." The store carries pieces that mix European elegance with American style, old with new and they proclaim that "we love to inspire you!" How did they know we would come by their place to be inspired?! ;-) So much beauty among all of the items in the store, and it's especially inspiring if you appreciate vintage, shabby, timeless, or antique pieces!
If you don't have time to spend browsing the "French Garden House" website, attached are a few samples from the store that you are welcome to use as your inspiration!

Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Drawn by the pretty blue china I whipped out the first of many needed thank you notes for friends who helped with my DD's wedding last weekend. Very Vintage Thanks
I was inspired by the striped beach bag- and since I was watching "Sabrina" with Audrey Hepburn, I had to do this card. I added some fabric and ribbon for accents. Here's French Stripes

I lived in SW Germany for 12 years and visited France often. I loved all the blues and yellows, so I went with those colors for my card. Thanks for the fun challenge!!
LOVED this challenge. That is, until I started on my card. These beautiful chairs were my inspiration piece Vintage Louis XV French style Serpentine Armchairs because I've got chairs like those (only red and gold and WAAAY less costly) and a stamp like that too, but nothing went according to plan, right from the start. Ever have one of those days? Anyhoo, here 'tis. The chair itself really is metallic, I just don't have decent lighting in which to take my pics. But thanks for a lovely challenge - I totally enjoyed doing some pretend online shopping!!
