Default SU Illuminate Glimmer Watermark

Just wondering if anyone has tried this yet and what effect it gives you? (pg 23 holiday catalog) it's hard to tell from the catalog picture and description.

I've just ordered some. I was at my demo's last week making cards & she brought some of this out to play with at the end of the night. She just stamped on a few different pieces of cardstock to see what the effects were. It's beautiful, especially white on white. It would be gorgeous, in my opinion, for wedding invitations. My plan is to use it for Christmas stamping. I don't buy a lot of SU & it does cost a bit more, but I liked the way it looked.

Thanks for asking. I've been wondering about this product myself.

I have only stamped with it on white. It doesn't show up unless you tilt the paper but it was VERY pretty!!!! I want to play with it on dark paper but I haven't had time yet. The Illuminate glimmer would be pretty on white using it has a background, adding some interest and bling to a background. I hope to do a blog post about this ink soon!

Default SU Illuminate

Q. I've tried using the new SU Illumnate pad and i find that after it dries the shimmer can be wiped away. Am I doing something wrong?

The only time I have had it rub off was on shimmer type paper. It worked great on my Night of Navy and Cherry cobbler, if that helps.
