I store all mine on magnetic photo paper( from a poundstore) inside the document pockets gregzgurl suggests, in a binder. I went with the A5 size.Don't know if you can get the magnetic vent covers over here, but I am going to be looking now, lol.The magnetic photopaper is good, but could be a little better, to be honest. the dies do slip around a bit.

If you can find the vent covers, I'm sure you will be pleased. They have more magnetic strength than the sheets you get from Michael's or Walmart. If not, perhaps you can order them on line from Home Depot or Lowes. I store mine like you do in plastic photo pages in a binder and love the system. (Picture attached)
If you want thinner, I like the three pack at Walmart in the craft section. The best thing is they have a peel off backiing and have adhesive so You don't have to figure out how to get them to stick. And they cut very easily. I also use the vent covers, but went back to Walmarts brand since they were more convenient.
Thanks everyone for all your tips. I did find some 4 x 6" sheets at our local stationary store (Staples in Canada) and I am using those in a shallow drawer to keep my framelits on.
I get mine at Lowes or Home Depot. I got the craft roll one time but found that the rolling part of it was annoying, I had to cut it and stick it on my fridge for a week to flaten them out. Vent covers are already flat.

I went to Walmart the other day based on someone posting they had magnetic sheets. And found a package of two, each one measures 8 1/2 by 11.
I just ordered the ones from Oriental Trading, so thanks for that, Sherry. I hope the magnetic properties are sufficient to hold my dies without them sliding around and falling off. They were so reasonable that I had to try them. I plan on sticking them to cardstock and sliding them into page protectors and storing them upright in one of my Home Depot plastic "shoeboxes". I'm not into a binder. I've been storing a lot of my stamps this way (only using the Stampers Best clear plastic sheets) and I like being able to flip through the sheets in the box.
I really didn't think I needed to do anything about organizing my dies because I didn't have very many, but I just bought some more nesties and I am already plotting and planning which ones I will get next. Truly another addiction/obssession/money pit, as my SIL would say.
