well they have the locks set to a 'builder's code' that anyone with a builder's key can open the doors. After the homeowner uses the key for the first time (with the RIGHT key) it resets the lock & the builder's key does not work anymore. So...anyone with a builder's key can still get in at any time until then. We were told that it may have been a worker who knew where the house was along the work & just helped themselves. The police were called & a report was filed.
I see. Wow. I'm sure that's extremely expensive to deal with for the builders. I hope they catch the ones that got into yours.
