Default Poem for inside of card to allow re-use!

So I already searched and found this one:

I didn't sign this card
before I sent it off to you...
Instead it holds my warmest thoughts,
Invisible but true.
And if you find a time you need
to brighten someone's day...
Then take this card and sign it
and send it on its way.

But does anybody have any others? We are selling cards to raise some funds locally and I think this is a great idea for the inserts. Thanks!

If you want a similar poem on a stamp, it can be found here:

I use it on RAKs sometimes. Great stamp!

I love this! I do send unsigned cards, but just put a sentiment on a separate piece of paper. This is so timely because I just got a birthday card back this year that I sent to a friend last year that I had forgotten to sign. She thanked me for the reusable card, and reminded me how forgetful I can be!

I often stamp the inside greeting and sign it on a folded sheet of white paper, and put it inside the card held in by a ribbon or twine tied around the spine. And then the recipient can take it out and put in a new piece of white paper and send the card on. Here's an example of one I did that way:

What a perfectly elegant way to make a card reusable. Love the cord idea. (The card is gorgeous too!)

I am an SU! demo and I give my customers a handmade thank you note with every order. Inside a put a handwritten thank you on a sticky note! That way they can peel out the sticky note and pass the thank you along!

I have been thinking about how to do this myself! My MIL got a card from a friend that had a thin ribbon around the spine and a separate folded insert. She thought it was really pretty so she showed it to me because she knows I make cards and I said "You could take out that paper and cut your own insert and reuse it!" and she was delighted by that idea. It got me thinking. I love the idea of one of my cards being reused. My only question is where would people get A2 envelopes? Most people don't have them.

Rachel, when I send a card to someone for them to re-use, I write my sentiment on a sheet that has the poem (from the original post above) typed on it. I enclose that sheet and a folded A2 envie into my mailing envie.

I thought I was weird to be thinking of this! I really love the idea that a card I sent would take a little journey of its own!
