Default Come clean--have you ever done this??

Hubby and I went to Chick-Fil-A yesterday for some yummy nuggets dipped in Chick-Fil-A sauce (love them). My cute niece works there so we chat with her for a minute--she's excited to go back to school, it's her first year in high school.
I have this great idea to send her a cute 'Best of Cluck' card from an old SU set. I find the perfect DS paper, some cute brads etc. and get to work. Well I plan on making 2 cards because I don't love scraps. 2 cards will use a whole sheet of Cajan Craze CS. I make the cards--darling. Now I have scraps from the DS paper on my desk. I like scraps of DS paper even less than scraps of CS.
So one card leads to another--one scrap leads to another, here it is 24 hours later and I now have at least a dozen cards from Best of Cluck. 'Just Chickin' In', 'Now That's Eggciting' and 'Thanks a Bunch'. Luckily I love this silly set. It just makes me happy every time I use it.
For some odd reason it is trendy right now to have a chicken coop in ones backyard. A few of these cards tied up with twine will make a great little I'm thinking of you gift to my chicken loving friends!
Now I'm going to clean off my desk! Now that's eggciting!
Give me a minute and the cards will be on my blog.

Perfect example of The Domino Effect - lol! I can honestly say that I've never done this, but it would certainly be eggciting for me if I did! It takes me too freakin' long to make a single card to accomplish a task of this magnitude. Kudos to you! Off to scope your blog now...

Not necessarily in one sitting, but I'll have a stamp set out on my desk and use it over and over again!

Like Gail, I have started to pull out one set and try to make a variety of cards with that set. But I have gotten on a roll with paper or embellishments on my table to use those and clean up. Fun, any way you look at it. Stamping therapy is good.

Funny thing you say this. I just told my hubby I want to mail my brother a card using the set as he is raising his first chickens! They just started laying eggs. I got to visit him last month and was amazing how big they were and we got to eat egg sandwiches.. I think he will get a set for his b-day in Dec. We don't have Chick-Fil-A here, but have relatives in PA that worked there as young teens and adults..

I've seen 'chicken wire' embossing folders, impression plates and stamps. You are with one of the 'in' trends.

I think our city council was considering allowing chicken in your backyard-don't know if a law was passed or not. There high school where my daughter attended had chickens that roamed on campus. There is a small city that allows chicken to roam the streets. traffic stops to allow 'the chickens to cross thr road'!

Couldn't see you cards on your blog but I bet they are cute and creative.

Cute cards. I have a chicken wire background stamp. It was one of those things I was just egging to have. Then I have some cute rooster stamps. Think country French. You think I'd make some cards. Nope... not yet. Sheez. At least you got some cards churned out eve if it was to get rid of scraps. LOL

I'm curious--where did you find the chicken wire embossing folder? I must find one!

Default Chicken Wire EF

It's by Provo Craft . It says Cuttlebug with Cricut in smaller letters about Cuttlebug. I got mine from Stampsalive. The package also includes a border EF of Barbed Wire.
