I just did that with the boys. Got it all stuffed into backpacks and bags. Tomorrow night they have meet their teacher and drop off their stuff night. With boys, there is no worry about first day outfits, or for that matter any day outfits. At 7 and 10 they just haven't gotten into that at all - thank goodness for that.
