I like the idea of this card, but I wouldn't cut the heart and I would use different cardstock. I love the sentiment and that she put the picture of their wedding inside a trifold card:
I love the design of this card. We (A Muse Studio) carry a background stamp called Venetian that is similar to the quatrefoil on this card. We also carry a gorgeous shimmer gold cardstock. You can check them out on my webstore: https://www.amusestudio.com/brendalee
@ Brenda, Thanks so much for the links, I appreciate it. I really like the 1st card! Now I think I will have to look up directions for an easel card, should I go that route!
I don't have any suggestions for your card, but I used this poem inside a card I made for my daughter-in-law's parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
My DIL later told me her mom asked her to read it aloud to all the guests at the celebration, and everyone was very touched.
"One by one each year flew by,
Since you both said I do
Fifty years of memories,
Shared by the two of you.
From big events and holidays
To simple daily pleasures,
Some tearful times along lifes way,
Some joys that cant be measured.
One by one each year now gone,
But still theyre yours forever,
Each and every memory,
Of Fify years together!"
Happy Golden Anniversary
